I am a Chromaholic already!

Today Google released its offering to the browser market.

Having read their comic book explaining some of the thinking behind the browser (http://www.google.com/googlebooks/chrome/), I am really excited about all the new (and better) features being offered. In particular, I like the fact that Google’s team set forth developing a browser for the capabilities and demands of the Internet today - and on top of that; design important concepts from the Operating System into Chrome, e.g. processes.

I wonder if Google Chrome will enable “multiple sites monitoring”.

One of the things I have found annoying about the current offering on the browser market; is lack of overview. I may have missed out on some plug-ins or other that offers this already, but it can easily be a time consumer - or headache to scroll around multiple sites, logging in etc. The thing is… With multiple email account, forums, community sites, e.g. LinkedIn and Facebook – I spend a lot of my time on the Internet logging into all of those sites to see if anything new has happen.

Would it not be wonderful to have an overview features, say for instance in Google Chrome’s ‘tab page’ that allowed you to monitor multiple sites that requires login? If that were possible, you would know if you had a new email, message or whatever in any of your login-required-sites, and would thus save time?
